We provide information and advice on a wide range of issues to those living in East and West Lindsey and the city of Lincoln, we offer free, independent, impartial and confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person.
At Citizens Advice we believe no one should have to face any problems without good quality, independent advice. That’s why we’re here: to give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
Our twin aims are to:
provide the advice people need for the problems they face
improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives
Trustees
All Citizens Advice local offices are independent charities, governed by their own board of trustees, who are ultimately responsible for leading the organisation and deciding how it is run.
Day-to-day control is delegated to the Chief Officer. Trustees are responsible for:
Setting the overall direction and provides leadership and guidance to the Chief Executive
Ensuring Citizens Advice Lincoln and Lindsey meets the needs of the local community and the Citizens Advice membership standards
Employing staff and controlling finances
Earning and retaining the respect of important and influential people and organisations in the community, including funding bodies
Ensuring the office complies with relevant laws.
